My guess is also mid - 1970's Accuquartz. We don't see many of these with the quartz crystal logo on the face. The only ones in the database I find are dated 1974. Seeing what is on the inside of the caseback would be very helpful.
The only ads I find in the Db (2) depicting the quartz crystal on the face combined with the name "Accuquartz" are also dated 1974 and 1975.
Heirloom watches are my favorite.
Without a date code from the case interior, I would be inclined to call your Grandfather's watch a tentative (date) 1974 Accuquartz.
