Watch Description

This subject has "Lady Maxim" logo on the face of the watch.  I don't know too much about the piece but, if the date is correct, it is the oldest piece in my collection now. Small symbol on the movement appears to have a 6 which is inside of a triangle. I'm not too sure on the advert as the crown and some of the defining factors such as case embellishments, name engraving, etc. don't appear to match up. Either that or my vision is getting worse with age.

Dear Vejdav, you have a picture of the inside of the back to see the case signature? This will help us greatly to identify the watch for you.

Here is the inside of the case. Recently switched to a new phone and the camera is not as good

Thank you for the picture. The watch certainly is from around 1921, but the correct case would be made by American Standard and not Star Case Company. Beautiful watch, but non-conforming.

Non-Conforming, if you haven't heard this term before means that the watch is a combination of Bulova and non-Bulova parts. This watch having a case manufactured by a company Bulova did not use as a supplier. Because the case is not Bulova we cannot associate it with a known Bulova model. Thanks for sharing it!.

Non-conforming but a beautiful watch.

I agree that the case is not original to the dial and movement. You can see the large gap between the dial outer minute track and the inner bezel.

A movement stamped Bulova W Co, would date it a little latter to around 1922/23.
