Hi there,

That's a fairly scare model, I think? I've only seen two or three of them, to date? Do you perhaps have the crystal specs, in mm?? (L x W) If this model was available for sale prior to December, 1959, then I suspect it's probably listed in the 1960 G-S crystal catalog???

Best :-)  Scott

Hi Scott,

The crystal is 18mm wide x 23mm long and it is a "Thick" style Glass crystal with a curvature on the Long side. Hope this will help you Identify the Model.

Let me know if you have a Glass Replacement for it, it needs a new one!.

Thanks,

Greg

Here's a shot of the crystal profile, it's original as far as I know.

The crystal on mine is glass, did the tap test and it rings sweet.

Same case,  Same Crystal profile, although the edges on mine seem more square, no edge bevel. Similar Dial style, is it White Gold plate or Reflection?

Yes the dial is acrylic. It's a 1957 and 10K rolled gold plate (white).  The lugs on mine do look like they have chamfered edges whereas your model is more squared.  The dial has identical indices but different finish. I had no idea this might be a rare model. It's been sitting in my overhaul box for over a year.

Exact Crystal Measurments are 17.60mm x 22.98mm, curved to fit the bezel on both dimensions.

Found a 1959 ad with the watch on the left.  Can't really read what model it says.... can anyone else?
