Hello everyone! Adding another Bulova to the database. Yet another model that has me completely stumped. Maybe I am just overlooking something... Movement is dated 1957 (L7) and case is only marked with a s/n, no year date stamp. Looking forward to your input on this! Thanks!
This one has me stumped as well. The dial and movement date of 1957 appear to match up to this Iris. I'm having no luck with the casing. By serial number, I would say the case is 1944.
At this point; as cool as the watch is, it appears to me to be what we call non-conforming. If somebody else can ID the case and it's a stand alone specific to only one watch name, I could go with the casing name and date.

I am not seeing any other numbers on the case. I have the same model on my eBay saved under watched auctions that have ended and on that watch the case s/n appears to be D411067 and the movement is a 6AH with a T mark. So according to the information from the pictures of the same model that was on eBay, it seems it would put it around 1942/1943 (which is right around what Bob said). Also, I believe you guys are completely right and the dial/movement is not original, the dial/movement on the eBay watch seems to be a way better fit for the time period.

I could not find an ad match but did go on ebay to find the watch you mentioned. That was very helpful and I think confirms we are looking at a 1940s watch. Looks like a fancy Goddess of Time "N" but could be another variant or have a name of its own. Hopefully an ad will come up at some point.
