Pristine 1946 Tuxedo in original box. I picked this up for myself today. I think it's a Tuxedo with the original band.
Can't wait to get it in next week. Would love confirmation on if the band is original and just a variant on what they sold back then. Thank you so much. Love what you guys do for people.

I'm not sure which watch you are refrring to in the list.
It shows 3 watches, 2 plus yours (note the case serial number is your case serial number)
The 1946 is your watch yet to be identified.
The case serial number starts with a 7, therefore is from 1947.
I agree with Kathy, without the matching solid gold 14k mesh band, this would place your watch as a 1947 Bulova Craftsman "A"
I've also amended the watch entry to show 1947 and removed the word 'Tuxedo' from the movement model and replaced it with '7AK'. I've also removed '7AK' from the movement serial number and added as the movement model.

To explain, the first number in the serial number indicates the year the watch was made. In your watches case starting with a 7 indicating 1947, corresponds to the decade in which the watch was made. Part of the panel's job is to figure out by style and ads which decade we are looking for. It is not model specific, but for example here is a Craftsman that starts with a 7 dated 1947 https://mybulova.com/watches/1947-craftsman-8876. In the 50s this changes to a date code system using a letter and number for the decade and year. Hope that helps.
