Newer Accutron railroad approved N9. The week day dial doesn't work. Other wise in decent shape.

Yes, 1979 Accutron Quartz... the reason the Day dial is stuck is because the calipers inside the movement requite a drop of oil each year as the manual says. Or the spring tension goes away and the caliper won't click to the next day. It requires a removal of the day wheel and re-calibration and possible parts replacement. Nonetheless a expensive job. Thank you. It seems like it wants to move. As my collection increases, as do my expenses in upkeep. I'm very interested in suggestions on where and what to get for oil. I hope to set up a dedicated bench in my workshop for watches. I'll probably purchase a few more "Bolivia"s to experiment on. Of course, any major repairs are going to a specialist. I really miss my watchmaker in Hendersonville. He was extremely talented and very reasonable.
