Bulova Air Warden in military themed display case. Watch case is in nice condition, dial needs refinish. Hands do not appear to be a match. Watch winds, sets and runs. Period Ensign bracelet has substantial gold loss as pictured but really does look nice on the watch. Display case is in good condition for age. Sticker in case is from Kirkpatrick's Jewelers in Butler, Pa.

While that particular box may have not come with that watch it is the correct one. A lot of the military themed watches of that period came in that box. Here is an ad from 1942 showing that box as belonging to The Nighthawk and Medical Officer. It is not a women's watch box.

It's actually the box these military motif watches came with in the early 40's. Take a look at the ads..
Very cool. I like these, but don't have one. Yet.
That's a sweet package Geoff, gets my 3 stars, looks like it's all original to me. 2 Sweet!
My vote is Air Warden three ticks.
3 ticks Air Warden. The band is great, as is the box!
3 ticks if '44 Air Warden
Good catch on the date conflict. Agreed '44.
I'll update date from 1942 to 1944 based on case serial number.
