Hello tunokies, welcome to myBulova. You asked in a repair forum about parts for this watch (I just can't find the forum back so I don't remember what you were looking for). Generally most of the parts will be available, it looks like you'll need gaskets for certain. The case reference number found inside the case back should help you narow down the gasket. We have at least one member, JP who has a supply of old Bulova parts and many can still be found on-line.
In terms of the ID, I think Ken nailed it in the post above. I think the hours markers probably were red once upon a time on your watch. I would vote to ID it as a Deep Sea model for sure and probably add the "B" variant designation.
Good luck restoring it, it's a nice looking watch.
I'm actually happy with the Accutron Deep Sea "B" variant call. The B/W advert doesn't indicate a colour and as such they may have had a few colour options but as the same variant. If we only had the BW image we'd say it was a "B" for sure.
So I'm tentative on a Accutron Deep Sea "B".
It's a great looking watch and 'm really liking the cargo tan colour dial and strap.
I've found 2 others like mine for sale. Both are N1 (1971)
One is on the bay (XXXX ebay item number removed by adminXXXX) it's on a horrible green striped Nato, but has the same dial and marker colouring.
More interesting though is one on (XXX auction site reference removed by adminXXX). Again same colouring but also with an old advert.
Perhaps you can add it to your advert database.....

We've seen this photo in the past but have never been able to document it as an original Bulova advert. We decided, after a bit of debate that it seems to be a photo taken to advertise a watch for sale on an auction site. It's still a cool picture. As an advert it would almost always have had a tag line with the watch model number and would probably not had the 'c1972' verbiage.
I also edited a couple details out of your post, myBulova doesn't allow direct references to current auctions or on-line sales. We do allow links to items that have sold.
Hello guys,
I did buy that Deep Sea, tunokies referred to and right it's on a horrible nato strap, but it also has the original leather strap with the original Accutron buckle which is awesome :) Well on a second look maybe the strap is not original, not sure if they were ever issued on a leather strap, but the buckle has the tuning fork logo on it.
It's just been mailed, once I receive it I'll provide some photos if you'd like.
