Todays $60 find on the way home from St. Augustine Greek Fest. Roadside Antique store had this beauty. Had to have her. She runs accurate with Hack feature. No tools to open her until I get home from the weekend. It had an expansion band that I swapped with my 1968 Timex 600ft Skindiver I had packed with me for the weekend. 19mm Tropic will be arriving in the mail monday for the Skindiver. Dont mind todays daily wearer in the photo shot.

The original statement still stands, how can you tell from two blurry pics this is an "original" or "Vietnam era" strap from a couple of blurry pics? You cant because it is not ask the man who posted it.

Why do some say on the back of the case U.S. Property and some do not ?
My guess would be some were issued from stores QM, and would have to be returned if the serviceperson was discharged, whereas a watch purchased from the CanEx (Not sure what you call it in the US) would be a private soldier's watch. I bought mine from the Canex, and they were absolute crap.
