Nice 18K solid gold watch. Case looks more tonneau shaped than corner cut.Definintely a pre '23 watch as the name is Bulova W Co. Nice snag. Unknown for now.

It's certainly 1923 or earlier and one of the nicest ladies in my opinion with the exploding style dial.

Not 100% sure if the band is original.

Dial, case and gold content matches the 6716-S (the 'S' variant may be for the style of band)

The American Standard Watch Case Co was founded in 1920 and We think the Bulova W. Co hallmark on the movement pre Dates 1923.

1920 - 1923 with 1921 being a very good production Date estimate.

6PPI is the Movement model.

The semi-circular bits at either end of the Case being part of the strap.

6716-S, 1922 if We follow the ad.

When I look closely at the band, it doesnt look like the same quality as the case. Also, the color is considerably different. It may be silver, or possibly chromed. It is for sure 1920's, just due to the deco design. I cant find any marks on it to confirm what it is though.

I just saw that ad which is dated 1922 so would you assume it is from that date or earlier? Also, I agree with bobbee. The 6716 and 6716S seem to be the same watch, but the "S" indicates the scallops on the band possibly?

The Dials differ between the 6716 and 6716-S depicted in the ad. the subject Watch matching the 6716-S.

Ok, I see it now in the numbers with the wide 12 on the "S" as compared to the narrow 12 on the standard 6716. Would you say that the watch is dated 1922 instead of 1921 due to the ad being in December of 22?
