He purchased it for $600 at Kay Jewelers in the early 1960's. It keeps perfect time. Now its mine after all these years. Confirmed it was $600 in 1962. All help identifing it is greatly appreciated.
1958 ad below left. Subject watch and another Diamond Dail "23" newspaper ad from November 1958 included. Caseback is more similar to the "23's" on site then the BB's. I think it's the similarities in the case backs which point towards an unknown variant "23" vs BB.

I've changed my vote to Unknown. IMO -while it look more like a "23" in some ways, it also shares charactoristics with BB. It's Unknow to me which of the two it could be, regardless if I favor "23" over BB.

First picture is form watchophilla. But I was noticing the similarities in the face of the watch and how the band is connected plus the setting of the diamonds. There is an ad for the Beau but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to attach it. I'm just looking at pictures plus the ads states comes in yellow. It looks like a predecessor to the 1960 Beau zzw with 30J that was mentioned above. What do the experts think?
