Sounds legit to me too. Bulova signed, M5 date code. Possibly a private order.

BTW, my 1960 Beau Brummell has JJ on the crown, does this have any bearing on this "Jonell" or is it something else?

Well I should've gone to that link I posted above before posting. It goes to a single J symbol with a different arrow through it. Didnt we have trademark info for the double J symbol too? I just cant find it now.

That was probably the Jonell case signature on the crown.

Marks on the crown are different, no arrow and one J is slightly higher than the other. Just checked trademarkia for Jules Jurgensen, none of their trademarks match this.

Checked for "JJ" too, nothing matched.

Will and Bobbee, here is the link to the Jonell TM that I base my info on:

http://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=72141187&caseType=SERIAL_NO&searchTyp…

After looking again at my Sea Cloud I can see where someone may think that it is a double J.

I'm sure if the owner uploads a clear pic of the signature on the caseback we'll solve this.

Bobbe, as far as your JJ crown I don't remember where I picked up that it was for Jules Jurgensen. I thought I had a Jules Jurgensen around here somewhere but can't seem to find it at the moment to check out the crown.

I've looked on a certain auction site at crowns on Jules Jurgensen's and at crowns for sale for JJ's, and they don't quite match as mine has a definite "blob" on the end of the hook at the bottom of the letter. Never mind.

And now, back to the main event.....gorgeous but unknown, sure would like to see the pump!

I think this will turn out to be a Rubaiyat variant.

bobbee was right.  Found in the 1965 Line Book BAWD0159 page 64 of 85

1965 Bulova Rubaiyat "B"  (Looks white gold to me) assume the yellow gold is variant "A"
