Watch Description

This is my late father's Bulova. The back indicates it was made in 1959 (L9), it has 30 jewels, 14k yellow gold, and 20 diamonds in 12 positions on the face. It looks similar to a 1960 Beau Brummel, but I have never seen anything exactly like it online. Can you help me identify?

One thing that puzzles me is- note the words "30 Jewels" on the face is NOT in a script font.  On all the Beau Brummell photos I have seen, those words are in script. Thoughts?

The FFFW is a different watch according to the 1962 linebook.   I am good leaving this as a no variant Beau Brummell until we get a confirmed variant ID

Agreed. I'm thinking the 1959 models had the simpler model variants, like "J" or "K", but we are still no closer to getting a variant for the solid yellow gold version.
