Purchased from Ebay on Nov. 14, 2010. I've seen one on here as an unknown, but no others.
It's date stamped as a 1940 and the case is very similar to my square 1940 Surgeon.
21 jewel, 10AX movement
Photo's of the actual watch in my custody...
Anyone have any idea's as to what this is?

Plaines,
I acquired this one on Dec 12 on ebay. It's a 1940 10AX 17jewel. Same basic watch I think, with subtle neuances like the hands & lug covers.

ID'd from a 1941-42 Sears Ad.....

J,
The watch Wayne is holding matches, Yours has a slight difference in the lugs. Same dial.
That's the only one i've seen even comes remotely close. Wondering if mine isn't actually this Beacon dial put on another watch. I've not seen another 21 Jewel watch like this. I've seen several of the 17 Jewel.
So gents are we happy with the Identification as a Beacon?

Wayne's is a Beacon, Plainsmens is not.
Lug covers on this one are same as ad.
