Looking to purchase a 1962 Beau Brummell

I am interested in purchasing a moderately priced 1962 Beau Brummell.  Went to buy one on ebay, but the vendor could not find the watch.  The 1962 has 5 "faux" diamonds.  Would also buy a 1957, which has 4.

Did Bulova use faux diamonds?I thought they used genuine.
