Watch Description

Need help identifying model year. Crystal missing. I'm new to collecting,  just starting repair/ refurbishment. If this was your watch, would you take it to a local jeweler that you know and trust, or is this too valuable,  and should really be sent in for factory refurbishment? Thanks

Thank you all for your input. I'm not sure if I mentioned this before,  but I am a novice to horology. I did spend a little time looking at some of the advertisements that I could find from this Era. The ones that you have shared are also a big help, particularly the Doline, which I had never seen before. Is it typical for the watch that you have not match the band shown in any advertising? I have yet to find one that appears to have an engraved gold plated band.

All of these comments are both wonderful and most helpful! In order to obtain a crystal for this, do I go to American Standard,  Bulova,  or is there a quality aftermarket supplier?

Give me a day or so. My calipers are with all my other electrician and mechanics tools that I packed somewhat away when I retired! It would be awesome if one of the members might have one
