Otis Redding was wearing a Bulova when his plane crashed in Lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin on Dec. 10th 1967. His frozen body was recovered two days later, still strapped in the co-pilot's seat wearing his Bulova. I haven't been able to find any reference to which Bulova model it could have been but I would suspect it would have been one of the Accutrons.
