 I took the ill-fitting bracelet off and added a black leather Speidel band. Watch also has a signed crown.

Thanks for posting. I have one just like it with a  1959 dated movement and 1963  dated Star/Bulova case. Never figured it out, but your post seems to validate they are true Bulovas as presented!
