Rare cal 10AF appears to have date codes for 1942 and 1944 on the barrel bridge.

Yep the first I have seen. Rare also means very hard to find parts :-)
There's alos no mention of it i the inter-changable parts catalog.
However it does look like an 10AN and 10AE, so parts may fit from those movements.

So this is in a Banker ... The Square Shield would put it at 1931. Which makes sense as it's also got a movement serial number, which they didn't have in 1941.
Inside case says "BULOVA QUALITY PAT. JAN.11, 1927 and case number 200204"
