This watch is ticking but cannot set the time. I have located this advise on setting:
This is an amazing watch which seems to be hard to come by.
A Bulova Accutron.
However it is not a tuning fork watch from Bulova but it still has some amazing features.
It's crown can be pulled out in 3 steps.
As usual to set the time but this is the TZ version in which case it will also allow you to adjust the hour hand only.
This of course comes in handy when changing Timezones.
There is also a very clever button at the 4 hour mark position.
This function is called ACCUSET and is pure MAGIC.
To use the button, the watch must have been synchronized to coordinate the second hand and the button.
This has to be done every time the battery is changed.
1) Pull the crown out to position 3 when the seconds hand reaches the 60 second position
2) The second hand will stop
3) push in the button
4) set the time as normal
This tells the circuit where 12 is."
The crown does not pull out past one click and only make the hour hand movable. I am afraid to exert too much force.
Nice to see another one of these watches. 1977 Bulova Accutron Quartz Time Zone.
Have found an advert for your watch (left corner).
Here is some more information on this model.
Panel, I'm looking to add a variant to the 'Accutron Quartz' model of 'Accutron Quartz Time Zone'. Any objections?
