Watch Description

1975,  black coated case and bracelet, 11aoacb movement, N5 caseback, N6 movement, inside case ref W3594, outside case serial number I901364. I found an ad for a 1976 similar model, but the dial was different.

Wow Dave, what an awesome looking watch.   It appears to be a close match to the 1976 Buccaneer ad.  Not exact match to the dial but believe Buccaneer is a good ID on this one.  Is your watch black and gold or black and stainless?

Buccaneer

Ok, so this is killing me, the dial is gold/yellow-ish, but the center link looks silver, but now as silver as the stainless clasp, but inwouldnt day gold either, maybe it's super faded gold. So faded it looks silver, I'm trying to get in the right light to tell for sure, but it's messing with my eyes, haha. Its looks silver alone, but not as silver nexter to other stainless parts.

So are the bezel side fronts painted black? Would love to see an angled photo if possible.

I spent like 30 minutes trying to load photos, it kept saying it was too small or too big, so i gave up, haha.

Here is a linebook 1975_LineBook_BAWD0199.pdf it just has it as Auto Date and Day model 10601-3blk.  I would be inclinded to go with that as an ID.

And from the 1976_LineBook_BAWD0206.pdf

Cool, thanks! I wonder what previous year's of this were called? If they were made previously. I know they started phasing into model numbers in the end times, haha.

I looked in 73 and 74 and didn't find it so 75 might have been the first year.  I also didn't find a Buccaneer so that might not have been an official Bulova name or it might just not be in the linebooks.
