Notes: I wonder if there is a model name for this style, or if Bulova was just using numbers by this time. I spotted this on an online auction a few months ago, and wondered if the dial could possibly look as good as it did in the images. It does. This “fume’ weave” is a dial treatment that is currently featured on a reissue Nivada Grenchen, as well as a fairly pricey Delma Diver. I would have to say that Bulova was making some style points in the early 70s. I also spotted another one with the same dial, but in a different color way. Haven’t decided if I am going after that one too, maybe another mybulovaite will beat me to it (smile). I also found it interesting that the Taiwan case has a somewhat low serial number.
Love it! This is only the third of these I have seen, I own one of THE OTHERS.
It appears this one was only assigned a model number, rather than a name.
