Hi, I bought this watch today. I have seen most of Bulova Spacewiev have M or N prefix, or 7-digits serial number. Mine has 483406, 6-digits only. I wish to know if is refurbished, franken or so on and which year could be. Thanks in advance, best regards from Italy! Claudio
Welcome to mybulova, that is a fine looking watch. Is there a 2 digit code on the back below the serial number? It will be either "M" or "N" followed by a number. That indicates the year of production and is necessary for identification/evaluation.
Here is a Swiss ad dated 1974 that appears to show your watch. Model number and caliber to the right of photo.
Your watch appears to be real and mounted on the original band. In order to refine the identification further, we need to know date code.

Hi, thanks for your kind reply! As I wrote above, unfortunately there are no numbers, letters other than serial # 483406. A collector told me that the American Bulova do NOT have M for 1960 and N for 1970 (only the Swiss made Bulova would have the letter ...) I don't know if this is a legend!
Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Methinks that is a legend :o) As far as I know, all US made Bulovas from 1950 forward bear a date code. Based on ad, my guess would be your watch is Swiss in origin.
It's possible (but not probable) that there may be a date code on the inside of the case back. Best guess without taking it apart would be to date it to the confirmed ad as
1974
Hi, thank you everybody for your help. Mystery solved: This morning I opened the back cover and I have seen N6 on movement! so was born in 1976!!! Remains the odd serial number: #483406, only six digits.
