I could not find an advertisement, but this appears to be the stainless-steel version of the 'Clipper BC' identified in the database....

Movement rotor states a 23 jewelled movement. Linebook is stating a 17J for the Clipper, but might just be another variant.

Looks like a good match to the Clipper "BA"

Noting a possible movement or oscillating weight swap.

A proper 23 jewel would have '23' on the dial.

Linebook match for a Bulova Clipper "BA", but is listed with a 17 jewelled movement.

The 11AOACB and 11AOACD both seem to have been used with these Clippers that were available with both 17 and 23 jewelled movements.

This is either another variant or perhaps an upgraded/replaced movement.

I agree the case and dial does appear to be a 1973 Bulova Clipper "BA".  Could be a swapped rotor but in spirit it is a Clipper BA
