Ads are always challenging especially if we do not have a date for the ad.    I looked up this model in the 1969 Bulova Line Book and found this to be a 1969 Bulova Lady of Fashion "AE".  It is possible the ad was from an earlier year and the variant designation was F.  But based on the 1969 linebook AE is the variant.
