Basic Aucctron 214 date.  Does the watch run? These cost alot to have fixed  Around here its hard to find anyone who will even work on an Aucctron $300 min to have overhauled.

It depends what is wrong with it, Jim. If the index wheel is shot, you have to replace it with a NOS one, and they are getting few and far between. Also, you can overhaul it and get it to run with Accucells, which last mayb 6-8 months, or use a procedure to index the movt to run at the correct frequency to jive with the higher voltage of a modern cell. It's a bit time consuming, and you need a good machine to vary the voltage, which I don't have.

Dune,

If we had a positive ID for it , it would have been added. Right now we don't have a positive ad showing this model.

The only thing you can do is search the net for a bulova ad showing this model, or you could try contacting Bulova themselves and provide them with some pictures and serial info, but I wouldn't hold by breath because it might be too old for their records.

Sometimes a positive ID will take months or years...or it may never happen, but we are always on the look-out for new information.
