Noting the whale logo and suggesting that the case will be stamp M9 for 1969.

Just as another data point, I have one of these (with whale logo) and it's stamped N0. I also have saved photos of an NOS copy that is double stamped on the outside case back with both M8 and N1, which I thought was odd.
