Hello mlove, welcome to myBulova. A treasure from your father is a wonderful thing, congratulations. I'm a big fan of heirlooms, this is a great one to have, watches are very personal items.
Bulova called these watches "Spaceview". They were so proud of the Accutron technology and thought the movement was so revolutionary (and it was!) that they decided to sell a model that didn't have a traditional face to cover the movement. They were and always will be very popular, could be the most popular watch Bulova ever produced. Over the years so many Accutrons were converted to Spaceview that it's a whole science to determine originality. I think yours is all original, right down to the bracelet. We call that bracelet the 'coffin link' style. If, at some point in the future your watch needs service, I suggest you be extremely selective as to who works on it, this technology is tricky.
I suggest this model is the Accutron Spaceview "G" as shown below, The "G" is a bit hard to read but when Bob uploaded the advert that's what he though it said.
Here's the fiull advert:

Accutron Spaceview G

According to the 1964 pricelist, the Spaceview 'G' does cost $125, which matches the ad price; however, in the ad it is calling for a steel case, which is more in line with this 1969 ad for the 'G' showing a different case shape. Below is an ad for the Spaceview 'D' that looks to be the same case shape in 14K gold (which matches subject watch).
If the watch originally came with a leather band (as suggested in the ad) and was worn regularly, most like the band required replacement at some point in time due to wear and tear. The current bracelet may or may not be original; it was available on other accutron watches at the time this one was new, so it could be a later replacement or a decision during the sale to have it changed. Most of these coffin link types that I see in ads tend to be more curved at the ends to match the rounded contours of the case - though this case is not completely round.
