I also just completely re-read the document. The final paragraph prior to the “Specifications” states
“Setting the timer, when a 12-or 24-hour dial and hands are provided, is accomplished by a setting handle located on the back of the timer. The timer with dial and hands also incorporates a hack feature, for synchronization of the second hand.”
My Instrument clearly is outfitted with a hacking version of the 214 as shown in the photos I submitted.

You may be reading too much into the TE-11 document, the included illustration clearly shows the TE-11 has a sweep seconds hand only.

Fifth the TE-11 spec sheet states it was also available with minute and hours hands.
I'm now not sure how to differentiate between a clock and timer as both came with a full hand set and different contact sets.

Again, thanks to all who are participating.
As an added data point, my 1967 Accutron TE instrument weighs 43g. According to the spec sheets, the TE-10 weighs 33g and the TE-11 weighs in at 42g.
For myself, I would be fine if, in the end, it only gets officially identified as a “1967 Accutron TE Panel Instrument”.
I guess one is used to trigger contacts at various times of day and the other to trigger every x seconds, minutes, hours.
Which does the subject watch do?

I have not done the testing procedure to find out when the factory trigger points activate. I am leery about doing the ohmmeter test described earlier. I cannot tell you with any evidence how the subject instrument triggers.
I will leave it to Admin on designation. I am good with your expert opinions. Cool clock. I would love to have one also.
