Unknown (at least to me) model from 1965. Orig. and crown and I believe the original half-n-half band and presentation box. Lovely textured dial. Came out of an estate, so I'm fairly certain this has been unmolested and is not a fraken-bully. One watchmaker's repair mark on the inside back. Any help would be appreciated.

I would assume 2506 is the case model number, as the case serial number is of course stamped on the outside of the case. Case material, by the way, is 10kt rolled gold plate and is telling of how Bulova (and most others) were moving away from the more expensive gold filled and going with rolled gold plate (still vastly superior in durability than electroplating, though).
The only crystal catalogs and cabinets I have are the GS crystals, and I believe the correct crystal for this is the CMC401, which is 22.6 by 22.6mm. But all the little envelope containing the crystal says on it is "Bulova 1266E." That particular case model number appears to be associated with the "Engineer G" and the "Engineer H" on this page of this site. So while this watch may not be either of these, at least it shares the same size/shape crystal as a couple of the Engineer models!
Let us know if your crystal catalogs turn up anything!

Bruce,
You beat me to it. I agree that the GS CMC401 appears to be the correct crystal. Of the 3 CMC crystals apprx 22.5x22.5 it is the only one that has the right shape. The 1266E is the original Bulova crystal part #. Unfortunately I only have GS catalogs after 1960 ish so I can't cross reference to find corroborating evidence with other crystal makers.
