Watch Description

Here is one I believe to be a Sea King.   The case is yellow gold plate and is oval in shape with a stainless steel back and a M3 date code.   The movement is an 11AFC 17Js with an L3 date code. I suspect the movement has been replaced.  I found an ad that shows the same case with two different dial configurations but not a match to this one.   I suspect this is an unknown variant of the Sea King line.

Jim this one might be tricky to ID, if the dial and hands are original to the movement, meaning we would have a marriage of parts 10 years apart.

Even if we could restrict an ID to just the case or just the dial, it may not neccessarily match to a complete known model.

The more I look at this watch the dial does seem to match a 1950's era.  Probably and non-conforming.

I'm pretty sure this movement was not available in 1953; could it be L8? That is when the 11AF series was available.

I have to agree that we have a marriage of parts; dial and movement are not original with this case.
