Here is a 1960 ladies Bulova that I have not had any luck identifying. It's very clean and runs great, but don't know the ownership or service history. White RGP case that is somewhat oval in shape. Case is about 15.8mm across, not inluding the signed crown. The band posts or lugs don't have jewels on them like so many do but are are geometric in shape and look great on this watch. Crystal and dial are round. The black dial has what I would call a faceted appearance that looks great. Silver indices and hands are also clean and match the case color well. I bought this last year for my wife, or that was my excuse anyway. She really does favor this one and loves to wear it on certain occasions. Thanks in advance for any info!

I looked up “engine turning”. Some articles I read referred to it as mechanical engraving. I realize now that I’ve seen it before on other vintage items like pocket watch cases, hand-held mirror backs, make-up compacts, etc. A very interesting decorative process. Both the skill and the equipment are probably pretty rare today. Thanks very much for that information!
