Welcome to myBulova and thank you for sharing your watch with us.  It is always nice to get a photo of the back of the case so we can confirm the date code.  If you can add that in the comments or email it to one of the panel members we can add it.  You are correct, your watch is an American Eagle like this https://www.mybulova.com/watches/1960-american-eagle-f-327 providing it is indeed white.  Sometimes photos can be deceiving on the color.

Iconic MCM bulova design, love the mismatched lugs - over the top! Black strap is perfect. 1960 Bulova American Eagle F

Yes, I tried a brown strap first, but the black is the best choice for sure.
