Watch Description

I'll have to get the case serial on this one, I am using a place holder meanwhile.

I didn't have a lot of time to get this photographed, my apologies. It crossed my bench and I thought it was an excellent example of a very tiny Bulova Automatic.

It looks much better IRL than it does in these pics. Running well but will require a service.

I had to double check, the hands are so small. They do indeed have a teeny amount of Radium in them, at first glance it's barely noticeable.

It's a very nice looking watch as I say, the pics do not do it justice. When we get it all serviced up, I'll do a follow up pic.

For anyone interested, 85 dollars in 1957 is the equivalent of 850 dollars today! So, not an insignificant purchase.

I will agree with Lady Bulova, but the ads available for this case do not show a seconds hand, which the subject watch has.

Lady Bulovas can be seen with and without the seconds hand, but in this case style I do not see one with it.

Ah you are right Ken, good catch.  Probably a different variant then.

Looks like the hands on the subject watch have a small lume spot, and yes agreed it's possibly another variant for the center sweep second hand.
