I am sorry, I should have included a photo of the back of the case. The date code on the back is L6. I see that I incorrectly stated 1957 in the year of manufacture. That should have been 1956 according to the case back. As I do not know the history of the watch, I am curious now about the movement being correct as it is a 15 jewel 11AC, where the watch should contain 21 jewel 10B variant.

We often find mismatch between jewel count and occasionally a two or three year spread between case code and movement code. In practice, we ID these watches based on the case as it is likely that the movement was replaced for any number of reasons. In my logic, a 1969 Ford Mustang with a 1973 date code engine is STILL a 1969 Mustang. I consider your watch to be a 1956 Bulova Lexington B (I updated the year in the entry). It's a great looking watch!
