I am not positive on the date but my father received it in 1951 for graduation. Its 14k gold art deco looking.

This is actually a 1954 Wembley, my mother thought my dad got it in 1951 but i have found out that was not correct. It is 14k gold with a new gold toned stretch band. The crystal was replaced back in the late 80's along with the crown. The gold has scratches from over the years but it runs great.

Looks like a match to the Wembley model. L4 on the caseback would indicate the year of 1954.
