Watch Description

This watch was recently past along and I am interested in finding out more about it. Back of case says L4 (1954) but inside movement seems to say L5 (1955). Correct me if I’m wrong I’m new at this but enjoying the sleuthing. Can’t find a match for the model right now.

Your watch case is a match for a 1954 Lady Bulova, unfortunately I believe the dial and movement are not original.

The Lady Bulova was an automatic watch with a slightly different dial. Your dial does not seem to look correct for the bezel.

It is still possible that another member of the site might find a better match for your watch, so will leave giving it an non-conforming ID for now.

I agree on the dial and movement swap.   The case does match the line book listing for the Lady Bulova A but the dial clearly is bigger than the bezel opening and the movement does not match.   Still a good looking watch.

It is very close to the Lady Bulova "A" case but not quite a match for me.  I went through the other Lady Bulovas and do not think it is one of those either.  The dial does not seem to match the case as Jim said.  Will keep looking.

I am coming up empty. Agree that the dial doesn't match the bezel opening. It looks like this may be a combination of parts from a couple watches.

I did look at the Lady Bulova A in the database and we definitely have two different watches.  I could not find a match to this case so I am changing mine to Unknown.
