Watch Description

This watch I believe is a 1954 Surgeon Men's Watch, unusual band of metal with Marianes inscribed on it, the face is riveted to the band, can someone comfirm the style.

I've always thought the early 1940's luminescent dials were all Blackhawks.  But yeah, if it is as late as '54, I wholeheartedly agree with the Surgeon.
