1952 Berkshire I just serviced.
Well, we haven't heard from you in a while, welcome back! The condition of this one is pretty amazing. Usually, the first appreciable wear on these is the outer edges of the sterling numbers and markers. Yours appears quite crisp. A real beauty with a nice clean dial as well. One of my personal favorites.
1952 Berkshire
I purchased it from an ebay auction recently. It had little wear, and the the dial is all original. The case was heavily patinated but I generally like my vintage watches as close to as the designers originally intended. The bezel was in terrific shape too but I improved it a bit in the refurbishing. :) Here's the ebay picture. The marks on the dial near nine were dust.; no so with the marks on the sub-dial.
