Watch Description

I have none of the information about this watch, movement Symbol, movement model etc.  My father purchased it for my grandmother before he joined the Army.  She passed away several years ago and both my parents have moved in with my sister and my mother gave me the watch.  Would like some information about the watch if possible, value, value when purchased, etc?  I found this picture on this site like the one I have, but the band is a different band, not like the one in the picture, there is no box for it.  I have carried to a jeweler to be cleaned and checked.

Hello dlemon,  I see your watch was added a long time ago but because it was your grandmother's I thought I would drop an ad on here for you.  Bands were commonly changed as they wore out and is probably why it has a different band to the original in the ad.  A lovely keepsake for you and extra special that your father gave it to her.
