This says 14kt on back, it says Kreisker 14k on clasp. Jeweler advises that it is rose gold. Is the face original? Any information/value would be appreciated.
Welcome to mybulova. Very nice watch, thanks for sharing! Based on the fact it's 14K rose gold with a solid gold basket weave band, I would say your watch is a
1946 Tuxedo "B" with possible dial replacement
Per this 1946 ad; If it was on a leather strap, it would be a Craftsman B. It should have a 21J movement. Based on the fact that I have never seen this rose gold variant and can find no ad picturing it, the face may or may not be original, as the yellow and white gold versions had numbers at 12, 3 and 9. The Tuxedo was rolled into the "Excellency group", so Excellency on the dial may or may not be correct. The square "dots" on dial vs. called out round in ad would indicate the dial is likely not original.
Best can do at this point but still looking.
Value is a very subjective thing based on many factors. We don't appraise, just ID. A good way to "guess-timate" a gold watch is by weight of the case and band with the movement removed. It's at least a starting point and worth at least that much.. Then factor in originality, desirability and how common or uncommon the watch is, plus functionality. EBay completed listings will also help with that.
