I looked through the '58-'60 ads, but I didn't find a match for this one.

Thanks in advance,

TQ

Nice one, Thanks for sharing. When identifying a watch, the main clue for age/identification are the case markings, as movements can be replaced. Looking at the serial number (and lack of date code) on the case, I went looking for 1945 models. Here it is in a full ad dated 1946. It's just like this watch

noting movement was replaced with a newer one.

Wonderful work Bob. Well done on looking at the 1945 adverts.

Agree with your ID call and both yours and Kathy's movement replacement.

Thanks, I hadn't considered that the watch might have had the original movement replaced. That's why you're a panelist and I'm just a guy sending you photos and asking for assistance. Next time I'm trying to determine the age, I'll start with the case serial number instead of the movement's date code.

I see now that Bulova used the 6xx series of movements throughout the 40s and 50s, so it probably wasn't difficult to find a replacement for the original movement.

Thanks again,

TQ

Very pretty watch.  I agree with Bob on the dating and the model.  Must have had the movement replaced.
