I found a 1941 ad here that identifies this Bulova as a “Military Nighthawk”. It’s really clean with some nice 18K on case
Any stamping on the case to indicate it's a Bulova?
Going to suggest that the case is not original to the watch, but a really nice addition and replacement for the original. Very close in design.
Beautiful watch, but I hesitate to give an opinion without seeing the case back.
I just found subject watch listed for sale in ebay. Here is a photo from the ad of case back. Replaced non-Bulova case.
Non-conforming
Oh 18K plating...that makes more sense.
Yep agree that the watch as presented in a non-Bulova case unfortunately makes it a non-conforming watch for the sake of our model ID process.
Still a great looking watch, with a great quality Bulova movement.
Old dial / movement in a newer non Bulova case. Non-Conforming, if you're the seller please note so much in your listing. This is not a Bulova watch let alone a military heritage watch, it should not be sold as one.
