This is my grandfather's watch, which my dad recently found and gave to me. Based on research here, I believe it is a 1941 Attorney in rose gold.
Can you please confirm and send any pointers on cleaning and repairing it to working condition? I have a local watch shop, which I haven't taken it to yet.
Best,
Dan
Hi Dan - welcome to myBulova. This is a really nice family heirloom, congratulations on it. Is it possible to add a photo (you can do it in one of these comment boxes) showing the entire case? There is a little bit cut off in your photo that will assure we get the right ID. Having said that I think it is an Attorney but I want to be sure. Thanks.
Thanks, Geoff. Here's a wider shot of the front.

Thank you for posting your grandfathers watch. It is a 1941 Attorney. As for service the good news is you have the stem and just need to add a crown which is an easy fix. I have used a seller on Ebay in McAllen Tx and he was less than $100. Probably not the best out there but certainly one of the cheapest.
Yes - That is a 1941 Bulova Attorney, thanks for adding the photo

If you take it to a shop, make sure the watch person in residence is qualified to work on mechanical watches and not just a "battery and band changer".
Thanks, everyone!
