Wayne,

Looks 100% original, complete and I think You're going to find most of the wounds are in the glass. Nice.

Very nice Wayne!

I guess one of my questions is how do we tell the difference between the Surgeon and the Medical Officer?  I think we've been using the names interchangeabley.  Which is which I wonder... and we've yet to see one single ad with these watches in them.

Maybe we should be looking at medical catalogs for the time?

Here's a black dial up on ebay as we speak... from Taiwan of all places....

Yeah and I hear that over in that part of the world they don't know how to fix watches like this properly so I would be careful if I were you about buying anything like this from that part of the world as they have been known to try and fix watch dials with super glue.

Sorry I forgot to tackle your naming question. Unless we have source data to where we can identify individual models or obtain that data. I was joking about band-aids & the Ambulance driver. Safest thing is call them doctors watches. You gave me another name for the Medical Officer just the other day, and I changed it, but you had proof.

Wayne,

Looking at the movement photo it looks like it is a 7ad movement and not the 10ax that is listed.

As small as these cases are I couldn't see a 10 ax being sqeezed in there.

I can't quite read the back of the movement pic, but the other two American Nurse watches in DB are both 7's.  Good catch!

Looks like the American Nurse was a smaller watch with a 7AM movement. Subject watch looks to be a male version.

Searching the database for the watch I just posted and found this one.  Would this be a Surgeon?
