Watch Description

This watch strangely doesn't have a case or movement serial number. Case is made by Duro Watch Case Co. Movement is marked USA. Date code appears to be an omega (1940 I am guessing)

Thank you for posting your watch.   The Duro Watch case was a replacement case as is the dial.   During this period jewelers would have kits for sale including a new case, dial and hands for the major brands.  You could bring in your old watch and it would be upgraded.  I suspect this is the case in your watch and we call that Non-Conforming.  I also believe the movement is probably from 1930 and was replaced in the late 40's after a well worn 20 years.

Agree with Jim.It may have been a watch that a jeweler created from parts to be able to sell 'a' watch.

The 10AE was a workhorse movement through the 1930s and Bulova made a great many of them, so spares and parts would have been plentiful once upon a time.

Non-confiming for this watch.

I suspect the dial is also aftermarket as we have nothing on record that looks remotely close to this style.

Agreed; very cool watch. From a documented Bulova model standpoint, it's  Non-Confirming.
