Watch Description

the only thing I know about this watch is that my grandfather owned it, he is no longer around and my grandmother doesn't know much about it either, it doesn't have a crystal and the hour and minute hand are both missing, the movement seems to be intact.

Good call Bob. 1940 Bulova Commodore it is. Hands shouldn't be too much of a problem sourcing, and you may even be able to find a correct crystal.
