10k rose gold rolled plate case with a 9AN movement. I can't for the life of me figure out what this model is, it looks very similar to the Director, but it has no seconds sub dial. It's the only picture I have for now.
Thanks for sharing. Without more info, ie. case and movement markings it's difficult to say for sure what you have here, including dating it. It's definitely not a Director. My gut feeling is that it's likely a Bulova movement in a non-Bulova replacement case. The shape of the seconds track doesn't quite match the shape of the bezel opening. More info would be a great help.
As presented, I am going to say it's
Non-conforming, which is how we identify watches that are a combination of Bulova and non-Bulova components.
Pretty sure I saw this one float by on eBay in he last week or so. I'm afraid this is not a Bulova case which means we will ID it as Non-Conforming (not Bulova parts mixed with some Bulova). It is important to confirm that the movement is, in fact Bulova. Please supply addition photos when you are able?
Agreed with above. When adding a watch to the database we need to establish that it is fact something that Bulova produced and not something that is made up of various Bulova and non-Bulova parts. This helps us to try and create the best database we can of watches actually produced by Bulova....and there were many.
Having photos of the movement and either the inside or outside case back will allow us to correctly determine if it's a genuine Bulova watch and when it was made.
Having said all that, if you love the style and look of the watch, please enjoy it and wear it often. It is a pretty cool looking watch.
