Case and Bezel 10K Gold Filled, Measures 43.30mm lug to lug and 25.10mm not including the crown.

I did find this ad for Montgomery, however its date in ad database is noted as 1938-39, so it's not clear to me what the start date actually is. I think it's unknown which of the two dates is correct?

And now I've found what I think is another 1938 Montgomery ad from main database. Click for full (blurry) ad.

There appears to be a sears ad for the Oxford (or similar catalog) w/ two different dates based on the graphic file name. One for 1938 and another for 1939. Appears to be the same ad placed in various threads, so I'm looking for the ad in the main database to determine which of the two is correct. Didn't see any Oxford ad in the main database for 1938, but I could have missed it.
Out of time for today.....

Will, to me this appears not to be the same as subject watch. Lugs don't appear the same?

???
The Montgomery and the Oxford are so much alike that all I had to go on for my ID were the measurements in the data base (Fifth's Montgomery) as there are no measurements for an Oxford. (Should Case measurements be included for ID?)

Yes Dennis. I've thought case measurements should be requested for every entry. They are often so helpful. If there were a field for case measurements, like there is for jewels, movement model, etc.... it may help remind folks how helpful this info can be in the ID.
