Watch Description

Hello everyone! Adding a Bulova that I have had for many years. I believe it was my great-grandmother's watch, as my Grandma passed away a few years ago I can no longer ask her (but I did get this from my grandparents' house when I was pretty young). I'm thinking it is a 1935 Miss America (as it has the shield engraving next to Bulova on the back of the case, the case serial number begins with five, and the movement has a triangle). I believe the band is original. Looking to see what you all think, thanks everyone!

Dear KodachromeCrawford, your watch is indeed the Miss America. This model was first introduced in 1933 and lasted until 1939. It was a very successful model in those days.congrats with this nice find!

No arguments here. Looks to be a good match for a 1935 Bulova Miss America.

Thank you! I agree! It's funny, I started looking at vintage watches (mainly Bulovas) on eBay and then remembered about the watch from my grandparents' house that I've had for such a long time, opened the box and realized it is a Bulova!
